LONDON, Feb 19 — Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey has personally invited fans of the brand to watch its Fall 2012 ready-to-wear collection live on Facebook tomorrow, after which he will reply to questions via the social networking site.

Scheduled to take place tomorrow at 1600 GMT during the London Fashion Week, Bailey appealed in a video for fans to send in their style queries ahead of the Q&A session to follow the show. See here for more details.

Bailey isn’t the only designer ready to interact with fans during this edition of fashion week at the British capital, which kicked off on Friday.

A number of 30-minute Q&A sessions have been scheduled to take place over the six-day event, with tweeters able to talk to guests including Fashion 2012 Menswear chair Dylan Jones and designers Anya Hindmarch and Alice Temperley. See here for details.

In other London Fashion Week news, the British Fashion Council (BFC) today declared model and presenter Alexa Chung a BFC Young Style Ambassador.

The model will be raising awareness of Britain’s top creators. She joins models Poppy Delevigne and Laura Bailey, who are Young Ambassador and Cultural Ambassador respectively.

“I adore fashion and am proud that it’s now officially my job to champion those London designers both new and established that inspire me so much,” she said in a release.

London Fashion Week will run until February 21, with menswear on February 22. Shows from the likes of Roksanda Ilincic and Mary Katrantzou will be live-streamed via London Fashion Week TV. Visit here  for details. — Relaxnews
